Birdnesting: A Child-Centered Solution to Co-Parenting During Separation and Divorce
Ann will describe what nesting is and how it can help parents who are considering separation or have decided to separate or divorce. Ann will describe a number of different living arrangements, including staying in the family home with a formal nesting plan. Attendees will learn how to identify parents who could nest successfully, and those for whom it is probably not a good option. Ann will present on how to help clients create a realistic nesting and parenting plan. She will discuss ways that nesting can predictably fail. Finally, Ann will talk about how long to nest, and how to help clients end the nesting successfully.

The presentation will be followed by a time for Q&A.

1.0 CLE will be provided.

Ingrid Carbone and Kate Rockas
Co-Chairs of the MCBA Family Law Section
