Speaker Information

Mary McLain, LLM, JD

Mary McLain is an experienced and energetic Attorney Mediator with 30 years of strong and successful commercial litigation background. She founded McLain Mediation in Mill Valley, California after obtaining her LL.M in ADR with a Mediation Emphasis from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Law. She has mediated hundreds of cases in a wide-range of areas including commercial/business, personal injury, insurance, employment, real estate, probate, family law and partnerships. She serves on ADR panels for the United States District Court, Northern District of California; San Francisco, Marin, Los Angeles County Superior Courts and the California Mediation Program and acts as Judge Pro-Tem in numerous matters. In addition to her private practice, Ms. McLain is a passionate educator and trainer. As a professor she lectures throughout the United States and abroad and leads trainings for organizations such as the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris and the International Trademark Association (INTA). She has trained over 700 mediators.
