Speaker Information

Cory Hamma, Director of Digital Forensics, Califorensics

Cory Hamma is Director of Digital Forensics at Califorensics, Sacramento. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) with 13 years of experience in computer forensics, information security and information technology. He specializes in digital evidence, with additional expertise in matters related to electronic medical records, complex networks, and cybersecurity incidents. His extensive electronic medical data experience includes more than a decade at the Public Health Institute, where he led a team of IT professionals supporting California’s cancer tracking database. Throughout his career, Mr. Hamma has led incident response teams to address major breaches at large private and public organizations. His clients include law firms, state and local governments, high-tech firms, aircraft manufacturers, financial institutions, and school districts. An experienced presenter, Mr. Hamma has served as a guest lecturer on information security and forensics.
