Date: Thursday, February 4, 2021

Time: 12:00 - 1:00 PM

With the entire landscape of parent-child transfers changing on February 16th (less than two weeks away!), attorneys should understand the ins and outs of Prop 19 and how it affects our clients. Attorneys Tim Galusha and Michelle Lerman will illuminate the truth and myths surrounding the newly enacted Prop 19. Understand what critical information is needed from clients before embarking on any transfers and common strategies to keep property taxes low when California real estate passes to children. Learn how property tax, income tax, and estate tax considerations play into the decision about next steps. This is a complex issue without anyone-size-fits-all planning option.
