The MCBA Real Property Section announces their next in person June presentation, Wisdom from Judge Sweet--Settlement Do's and Don'ts and an Opportunity to be Involved in Conflict Resolution, to be held on Monday, June 17th; (Registration and Networking begins at 11:30 AM); Presentation will be from 12:00-1:00 PM in the Assembly Room at the Marin County Sheriff's Office, 1600 Los Gamos Dr. (Main Lobby A), Suite 200 in (Marinwood) San Rafael. Lunch included in Registration Fee. (Note: If you register day of Event (6/17/2024), you may not get lunch.)

The MCBA Real Property Section Co-Chair Neusha Ghaedi and Legal Aid of Marin's Lucie Hollingsworth present Lunch with Judge Sweet to discuss updates and tips for settlement conferences. Hear from landlord and tenant attorneys about how you can be a part of mitigating the housing crisis.

- Vegetarian: combination of bell peppers, carrots and cucumbers with Swiss cheese on sourdough bread (no modifications, condiments will be available)
- Roast Beef: with Jack cheese, lettuce, and tomato on Sourdough (no modifications, condiments will be available)
- Roast Turkey: with Swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato on Sourdough (no modifications, condiments will be available)

Sandwiches will be pre-ordered from Mike's Sourdough and will include a bag of chips and a drink.

Marin County Superior Court

Judge Sweet was appointed to the bench in 2009. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
