The MCBA Real Property Section announces their June virtual presentation, Rent Gouging Regulations for Real Property, will be held on Thursday, June 5th from 12:00 to 1:00 PM via a Zoom Webinar.

Join real estate attorneys Daniel Hershkowitz and Tiffany Norman (RP Section Member) for this Rent Gouging presentation that will cover state and local laws surrounding the landlord's ability to increase rent and penalties for violations.

Time will be reserved for questions and discussions.

***For those that are not able to attend but interested in the post-meeting recording, we require that you Register for the Event. Once the presentation is over, if the recording is adequate, we will send it to those that were not able to attend. If the recording is distorted and can not be viewed, MCBA will refund your registration fee. MCBA does not provide CLE for viewing recordings post presentation.***

Daniel A. Hershkowitz

Daniel Hershkowitz (aka Mr. Dantastic) is a real estate broker and real estate attorney with 25 continuous years in the business. As the Senior Vice President of Risk Management for The Agency, Daniel spearheads agent training and development, and is instrumental is setting standards for professionalism and collaboration.

Daniel previously served as Director of Risk Management for Compass - Northern CA, and prior to that as the Broker of Record and Managing Broker at Vanguard Properties.

Daniel is active in the real estate community serving on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Realtors, as well as serving as the Past President of the San Francisco Association of Realtors

Daniel has been instrumental in drafting and revising the industry standard transaction forms used throughout the State. He has served as a member and Chairman, Vice-chair, committee member and Taskforce member for both his local San Francisco standard forms committee, and also the Statewide (C.A.R.) standard forms committee.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE ...
Daniel is an atheist, vegetarian, donut loving New Yorker who is grateful for for his good fortune, his health, and his family. Daniel is in love with his wife and his golden retriever.

Daniel’s secret goal/dream is to host a syndicated radio show. In the meantime, he conducts seminars for realtors, where he entertains and educates anyone genuinely interested in listening and learning.
