Juliana E. Pisani

Ms. Pisani has been a trained neutral since 1996, tried cases to verdict and settled contentious disputes both in and out of court. Ms. Pisani regularly serves on the Legal Panel for organizations such as the Small Property Owners of San Francisco Institute, the San Francisco Apartment Association, and the Professional Property Managers Association.
Before founding Justinian ADR, Ms. Pisani earned praise from her clients for efficiently resolving claims and disputes. She served as a mediator in the San Francisco Superior Housing Court. Ms. Pisani holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Italian and Political Science from the University of California, Davis, a Juris Doctorate, and a certificate in European Union Law from Tulane University. Ms. Pisani has studied at the Università per Stranieri di Siena, the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, and the University of California, Berkeley in Paris. Additionally, she completed her Bachelor’s Degree through the University of California’s Washington D.C. Program while resolving Holocaust-related art claims at the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of European Affairs.
Ms. Pisani is the President of the Italian American Bar Association “IABA” since 2021, on the IABA board since 2017; on the board of the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club Foundation since 2022; former co-chair of the San Francisco Symphony’s Junior Committee; former President and Executive Adviser of the Napa County Women Lawyers; former Executive Committee of the Napa County Bar Association, former Legal Aid of Napa Valley Fundraising Committee, former Queen’s Bench Development Committee, and former San Francisco Bar Association Barrister’s Committee. Ms. Pisani is a member of the Mediation Society and the Italian Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Pisani’s background as a litigation and real property attorney makes her perspective on mediation unique. She understands both the legal complexities of litigation and the specific nuances of property disputes, enabling her to facilitate a more informed and effective resolution process. Ms. Pisani knows the factors that motivate both plaintiffs and defendants to settle cases and her almost 30 years of mediation experience helps her develop creative solutions for each case. Ms. Pisani exudes calm that allows her to establish a rapport with parties even in the most contentious disputes.

Jacqueline Ravenscroft is a partner at Tobener Ravenscroft. She attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, graduating summa cum laude. Ms. Ravenscroft earned her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of California, UC College of Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) in 2011.
As a tenant advocate for more than a decade, Ms. Ravenscroft has represented thousands of tenants in wrongful eviction, habitability, and personal injury claims. She has extensive experience in cases involving fraudulent owner and relative move-in cases, fires and post-fire failure to re-rent, transgender discrimination, and sexual harassment by property managers and landlords. In addition to litigating on behalf of her clients, she has volunteered hundreds of pro-bono hours to the San Francisco Housing Rights Committee. She is experienced in trials, arbitrations, and Rent Board hearings. Ms. Ravenscroft is a regular guest on several Bay Area news stations and has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle. She teaches landlord-tenant courses at San Francisco State University and has given presentations for the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, Bar Association of Alameda County, San Francisco Apartment Association, San Francisco Association of Realtors, Bar Association of San Francisco, and several Bay Area nonprofits. She regularly hosts MCLEs on how to maximize insurance policies in landlord-tenant and premise liability litigation.
Jacqueline was selected to the Northern California Rising Star list in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, an honor reserved for only 2.5% of attorneys who demonstrate excellence in practice. In 2026, she was selected as a Northern California Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers, a distinction awarded to no more than 5% of attorneys in Northern California.
