Strategies for Winning Appeals
Speaker
Myron Moskovitz
| Moskovitz Appellate Team
The MCBA Litigation Section announces their September presentation, Strategies for Winning Appeals, to be held virtually on Tuesday, September 15th from 12:00 to 1:00 PM via a Zoom Webinar.
Join our Speaker, Myron Moskovitz, as he will discuss how to think strategically about winning appeals, including:
Writing a short Introduction that persuades the court – all by itself;
Drafting a Statement of Facts that tells a moving story;
Structuring an Argument section that integrates the key facts with important policies (backed up by case law);
Using oral argument for it’s only useful purpose: to “turn around” a court that is leaning against you.
Time will be reserved for questions and discussions.
***For those that are not able to attend but interested in the post-meeting recording, we require that you Register for the Event. Once the presentation is over, if the recording is adequate, we will send it to those that were not able to attend. If the recording is distorted and can not be viewed, MCBA will refund your registration fee. MCBA does not provide CLE for viewing recordings post presentation.***
