Court Update with Family Law Judges
It's a new year! Please join us for an update with the Marin County Superior Court Family Law Judges.

Speakers:

Judge Verna A. Adams
Judge Sheila Shah Lichtblau
Judge Mark A. Talamantes
Commissioner Janet L. Frankel

Agenda/Topics:

• Zoom hearings/protocol – updates and/or changes. How long will Zoom hearings continue to be an option?

• Updates on COVID-19 related issues, specifically parental differences on the decision to vaccinate (themselves and/or minor children).

• Move to "no paper" files--please explain what is happening. Are courtesy copies still helpful? If so, should they be delivered to bailiff's station or emailed?

• Family Court Services - will Zoom meetings continue to be an option for families?

• Legal Self Help Office - any changes/updates?

Please send your questions in advance for the Family Law Court Judges to address by COB Tuesday, January 11th to Section Chairs: Kate Rockas, kate@katerockas.com or Ingrid Carbone, ingrid@carbonefamilylaw.com

For those that are not able to attend but interested in the post-meeting recording, we require that you Register for the Event. Once the presentation is over, if the recording is adequate, we will send it to those that were not able to attend. If the recording is not watchable, MCBA will refund your registration fee.
