Legal Aid of Marin (“LAM”) has identified a great need for increased Spanish-speaking capacity in Marin legal services. A large majority of clients who contact LAM for assistance are Spanish-speaking. Additionally, there are certain case types that LAM receives regular requests for legal assistance with but cannot assist with at this time. We have found that there are limited referral options to law firms or solo practitioners who (a) have Spanish-speaking capacity and (b) can assist with case types that LAM is currently unable to accept in-house.

Accordingly, we ask you to take 5-10 minutes to complete the survey below so that we may understand the current state of bilingual and practice-specific capacity among membership in the Marin County Bar Association. Thank you for your time and participation.

If you have any questions about this survey, please contact Ellyn Moscowitz, Supervising Attorney of LAM’s Employment Division. Ellyn can be reached via email at: emoscowitz@legalaidmarin.org.
