The MCBA Construction Law and Intellectual Property Sections announces their joint virtual presentation, The Intersection Between Copyright and Construction Law. Join us Thursday, May 18th from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
Learn about what every construction lawyer needs to know. Copyright is strict liability. For example, contractors may be liable for constructing a building having unknown copyrighted features. Or tearing down or altering a building that incorporates artwork the contractor didn’t even know was artwork. How to recognize and avoid potential liabilities.
We look forward to seeing you virtually!
***For those that are not able to attend but interested in the post-meeting recording, we require that you Register for the Event. Once the presentation is over, if the recording is adequate, we will send it to those that were not able to attend.
