The September MCBA Litigation and Real Property Sections Joint Meeting presentation, Unveiling the Hidden Costs: Exploring the Consequences of Wrongfully Denied Requests for Admissions and the Impact of 998 Offers, will be held virtually on Thursday, September 7th from 12:00 to 1:00 PM via a Zoom Webinar.

Join us for an insightful virtual presentation as we delve into the complexities surrounding the costs of proof for wrongfully denied Requests for Admissions (RFAs) and the impact of 998 Offers. Designed for legal professionals, litigators, and individuals interested in the intricacies of civil litigation, this presentation aims to shed light on the significant ramifications that can arise from the denial of RFAs and the strategic implications of 998 offers.

During the session, our panel of distinguished attorneys will navigate through the various aspects of RFAs and 998 offers, discussing their importance, strategic implications, and the potential consequences of mishandling them. Rush Injury Law

James Rush is a Marin County native. Mr. Rush received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Riverside and his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. He first started working on behalf of people injured by the fault of others in 2003 as a law clerk and has been representing people in personal injury cases since starting his firm in 2005. Mr. Rush has tried personal injury cases to jury verdict in numerous California counties and in arbitration proceedings against the biggest insurance companies in the nation. He has represented injured people against some of the largest companies in the world such as Ford Motor Company, UPS, Wal-Mart, Safeway, State Farm Insurance, Mercury Insurance, and cities such as San Rafael, Oakland, Santa Rosa and San Francisco.
